Top 11 Beauty Products of 2011

I hope everyone had a nice, relaxing holiday! Things have been a little hectic in our house so I haven't been blogging as much as I'd like but I thought this would be a perfect post to kick off the new year. I tried a lot of fun products this year and I wanted to share my top 11 of 2011, so let's get to it!

Sigma Synthetic Kabuki Brushes

These brushes are amazing, they make applying foundation so easy. I love the different shapes and the soft texture.

I get the best volume and fullness from this spray. Just a couple pumps to towel dried hair, blow dry, and it will look like you've had velcro rollers in your hair for hours!

I might have mentioned my love for this foundation before but it's worth repeating. This foundation stays on all day and has the best finish. When I'm in between colors, I like to mix it with Revlon Colorstay foundation and it lasts even longer.

I use this hair masque twice a week and, not only does it smell incredible, but it leaves my hair so soft and smooth. It's a little pricey, but I think it's worth it.

All of the BareMinerals eyecolors are great, but I'm loving this high shine line with the applicator. They work on so many skin colors and blend so smooth.

This stuff works wonders on chapped lips, cracked heels, or dry cuticles. I carry a travel size version wherever I go and keep a big one by my bed. Definitely a must have for the cold season!

e.l.f. carries a ton of great blush colors, but this one was my favorite for this year. People say it's a dupe for Nars' blush in Orgasm. I say it's a great blush color. I wore it a lot when I was tan during the summer and I still wear it in the winter, very versatile!

I almost went through a whole stick of this lipstick this year, which says a lot because I never go through lipstick! This is a great pinky-nude color that isn't too pigmented so you can wear it over other colors or by itself for a subtle look.

I wore this color so much this year. It's a beautiful nude color that goes with so many different looks and lasts through the seasons - a must have in your nail kit!

Another makeup staple, this eyeshadow primer is simply the best. It keeps eyeshadow from wearing off or smudging all day long.

Keeping with the Urban Decay theme, this is a newer product but it has quickly found a place in my heart. This palette has such great colors, I think I like it even better than the first Naked palette. There are a few more matte shades and the shimmery colors are great too. I was one happy lady when I found this under my tree, my husband sure knows how to pick 'em!

  1. Great list! I’m definitely trying the Root Boosting Spray. I’m always looking for more volume! I want to try the High Shine Eyecolor too! And we use Aquaphor for everything around here. On me, my husband and kids. It’s a miracle in a bottle. I think I’m skipping the Naked Palette and going straight for Naked2!

  2. UD Eye Shadow primer is my go to-I use it almost every day! I'll have to try the macadamia nut oil-I'm in desperate need of a hair masque!
